Hello! My name is Jennifer Richardson and this is my seventh year with Heritage High School. I am an enthusiastic person who absolutely loves science! I was a chemistry major and education minor at UC Davis. I loved UCD so much that I went back and got my teaching credential and masters degree there as well. I love teaching and I am very excited to be here. I’m looking forward to a great year!

 

• I am science department chair at Heritage
• I received Teacher of the Year for Heritage High school in 2019
• I played the clarinet in the UC Davis marching band (I was even section leader!)
• My husband (Mr. Richardson) teaches math at Heritage
• I have 8 year old lab mix named Crissy
• My husband and I collect various board and card games
• When I'm not teaching I love baking, hiking, reading, and playing video games. 
• I can't remember ever wanted to be anything other than a teacher!
